2008 has been a big year for us. Some major milestones include:
- Homeownership .
- Josh graduated (2 graduations down, who knows how many to go) from UCMT.
- Coming out of the "we're not pregnant and wish we were" closet. Turns out it's an enormous closet and most everybody I know has been in that closet at one point or another.
Fine, it wasn't really that big of a year. But it was a year full of spiritual growth and learning:
- I started volunteering in the temple.
- I got called as RS teacher.
- We spoke in church as grown-ups.
Fine, it wasn't really that spiritual of a year either. But we did make a lot of friends.
- I blog stalk 45 people. Probably only half of them know I do.
Blog-stalking doesn't count as making friends? Oh. Well, we had an OK financial year.
- We saved a bunch of money. Then blew it on a Wii.
- I got a fantastic new job this year and have probably never been happier at work. Huge relief.
Major milestones? check.
Spirituality? check.
Social growth? check.
Financial survival? check.
I guess overall it's been a pretty great year.
Here's to enjoying last year, and looking forward to an even better one to come.
You're too cute. I don't like New Years Resolutions either. Why give myself a goal I know I'm not gonna meet and end up in dispair and disappointment in myself?!?!
ReplyDeleteLOL...glad I found you to blogstalk. Hope 2009 is great.
I love reading your blog--man you Fugal folk always make my day. I am glad you have had a great 2008! I bet you are having a blast with your Wii. All my sibling have them and "we" the adults have a great time.
ReplyDeleteKeep on Stalkin!(Maybe I should update my blog haha!)
Your stalking my blog lead to me stalking your blog, so I think we should count this newfound mutual blog-stalking as friendship!
ReplyDeleteAmy -- you have done so much this year! I always wonder what to do when you are blog stalking someone who doesn't know you read their blog and you desperately want to comment... any tips? haha
