Did you know?

Did you know that you can get year long weekend subscription to the newspaper for $20? My newspaper started coming this weekend and I feel like a whole new kind of grownup. The kind of grownup who reads the ads (looking for coupons) and the comics and throws the rest of the paper away. The kind of grownup who needs to find a recycling bin close by.

Did you know that there are some really really good people in my neighborhood? Cream of the crop. I'm telling you. You should come live here. You'll like it.

Did you know that this is the house of the Lord? And that the sealing power is real? Josh and I went to the temple last night, and I just can't tell you how glad I am that we did.

Did you know that when Josh makes fresh salsa we go through an ENTIRE bag of tortilla chips in 2 days? Sad. But true.

Did you know that Niagra Falls has receded 7 miles over the last 10,000 years? 7 miles is a long LONG way. However, 10,000 years is a long long time....so I suppose it's no big thing.

Did you know that for the first time in his life (I think) Josh wrote a paper and before he handed it to me to review said "I actually kinda feel good about this one."? He's not so confident in his ability to write, but one of his classes has him writing 4 or 5 papers this week. So he's feeling better about it. Go school!

Did you know that McDonald's spends more than $2 Billion on advertising every year? I know what you're thinking...."chump change." right? But seriously, McDonald's buy me a house instead eh?

Did you know that Josh made me ride 13 miles with him this week? On a bike. That was after my earlier ride with Ashley. I'm pretty sure I would have died had we gone one more mile.

Did you know that the "fast" method of cooking dry black beans takes like 4 hours? I'm sorry but 4 hours is only fast in marathons. I'm pretty sure it just costs to much to print "barely less slow than molasses on a cold day method" on the label.

Did you know that even Josh can't eat an entire watermelon in one sitting? Close. But not quite. Today I bet that Tommy could.

  1. I'm surprised it takes you two days to go through the chips...I would have thought less time. :)
