One thing I love about storing other people's presents under our tree is that when Tommy unwraps them every week, he isn't spoiling his own Christmas morning surprise - he's simply making it so everyone gets presents wrapped in a patchwork quilt pattern.
I'm so glad you said this! We have a present for you under our tree (from spence and em) so now I know you'll understand why the wrapping paper is all patched and wrinkly ;)
ReplyDeleteRight, because if it had been HIS present, Tommy would have used a full, complete sentence that went something like this: "Bummer, Mother. Why did you not inform me that I was de-wrappifying something so utterly brilliant? I will now be incapable of waiting until Christmas morning in order to enjoy this marvellously fantastic item. And perhaps you would deign to re-wrap this gift so I can play with the paper more thoroughly? Thank you."
ReplyDeleteBefore you even begin decorating, your tree needs a bit of attention. A tree stand is an important element for both real and artificial trees. This will serve as an anchor to keep your tree steady and also a way to keep the real trees watered.
